My name is Sunshine Taylor and I’m a Canfit Pro Certified Group Fitness Instructor Specialist. I want you to know that I wasn’t always interested in health and fitness, let me share my story with you…
When I got pregnant with my first daughter, I quit smoking at the same time, the combination led to a massive 80 pound weight gain that remained after I gave birth.
I knew I needed to do something because I was so unhappy with my body and my health. I wanted to be a more physically fit person and set a good example for my children, so I started running outdoors, taking some Body Pump classes and other strength-based classes at Goodlife and I also joined the corporate classes that my law firm was offering at Bankers Hall Executive Club. It was there that I met my mentor, Shane Kups. Shane was instrumental to my love of group fitness and why I became an instructor. He encouraged me to get my group fitness certification and he gave me my first group fitness class at Bankers Hall Club, I would not be where I am today without him.
I now teach HIIT, strength and I most recently added spin to my repertoire. I love to teach, I love to make a difference in people’s lives, and I love to see their smiles when they accomplish their goals and this is why I’m here, telling my story and trying to grow my network.
I hope we can work together soon and smash those fitness goals together!

Focus in every class is to work the entire body (upper, lower, cardio & core) using HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to keep your body burning calories all day long. Weights are great if you have them as they increase the intensity of the movement, but not necessary. You can always find something in your home that can be used to add a little weight, like wine bottles (they should be full though 😉).

Real Experiences, Stunning Results
I really enjoy Sunshine’s workout. She is very easy to communicate with regarding my workout needs as I am someone very out of shape. She will add in variations if she knows people are struggling with certain things and does it in subtle way as to not single you out. I find her workouts challenging, but in a good way. I love that I can do it online instead of in class as I feel more comfortable since I am a larger size. I would give her a 5/5 stars.
